Geddy Lee Jazz Bass®

All the world is a stage and this is what I use on it. The Geddy Lee Jazz Bass guitar is an exact replica of the instrument that Rush’s revered bassist/vocalist has used for many years. If it is good enough for him it's good enough for me.

The bass has an alder body; the one-piece C-shaped maple neck (thin) has a maple fingerboard with black binding and black rectangular inlays. The two vintage Jazz Bass single-coil pickups crackle with life and bristle with the energy; other features include chrome hardware, vintage-style tuning machines and a Badass® Bass II™ bridge.

G&L Tribute L2500

My backup bass these days is a blueburst Tribby L2500. It has the same 2 Fullerton-made G&L Magnetic Field Design pickups as it's American cousin, Swamp Ash body and Rosewood fingerboard. It has the G&L Tri-Tone active/passive electronics, 3-way mini-toggle pickup selector, series/parallel mini-toggle, preamp control mini-toggle (off/on/on with high frequency EQ boost). It's everything I need for playing at church.

Amplification

Other gear that I use is a Gallien-Krueger GK1001RB-II head and D'Addario XL Nickel strings. I am currently without a cab as I currently just use a Fender combo amp that is owned by the church.
